When a call is in progress you can record the conversation with the other party (call recording).  To begin recording you simply click on the recording button on the active call panel.  The red button will be displayed for the entire recording.

To finish recording simply click on the button again or close the call.   Please note that you can disable this option by changing the user’s profile in Profile section of the User Configuration page.

Separately, you should ensure that the person you are recording agrees to this, with either a disclaimer on your IVR or by asking them, before pressing the record button.

HOW TO LISTEN TO A RECORDED CALL

You can see whether a call has been recorded by clicking on the recording icon under the Reports tab.   You can also listen to earlier call recordings, and manage these by selecting the time and type of recording via the filter on the top right:

• Favourites: selection recorded as Favourite always lists these first;
• Today
• From yesterday
• From last week
• Last 30 days
• Select period: from one date to another

HOW TO MAKE A RECORDED CALL A FAVOURITE

If a call is particularly important, you may wish to prioritise it on your page and add it to your Favourites by clicking on the grey star on the left to the list of recordings.

Clicking on the star will change the star colour from grey to green and make the recording easily recoverable using the filter described in the paragraph above.

ACTIONS ON CALL RECORDINGS

You can listen to the call recording by pressing on the “play” button in the recordings list; clicking instead on the green handset next to the play button you can call the number linked to the recording.

Clicking on the three dots on the right margin of the “registered call” element opens an additional menu from which it is possible to carry out two actions:

	Download the call recorded in MP3
	Permanently deletes the call log file
	Closes the additional menu

Recording your conversation with the other party during an active call is easy with the VOIspeed UI. To start simply click on the record icon GUI button record, and stop the recording by clicking on the recording icon again or by ending the call.

To use the record feature the user must have authority which is provided by the administrator while creating the user on the phone server.
As soon as it is finished, the Vocal box icon GUI button vocal box will immediately be displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the GUI. Once you click on the icon it will take you to the Vocal box section where you can listen to what was just recorded.
