You can assign ringtones to internal extensions on the Yealink phone which helps you to differentiate between internal calls and external calls.
To assign ringtone to the user, you need to create contact on the phone and subsequently assign the ringtone to the created contact.
Start up your Yealink IP phone and check its IP address. To find the phone IP address, simply press the OK key on the phone.
Type the IP address of the phone in the internet browser to access the web interface of the phone. Enter phone login details – username and password (admin by default).
ASSIGN RINGTONE TO CONTACT:
To add a contact click on the contacts button at the top of the page.
Go to Contacts section to add new contact.
Please follow the steps below:
- Enter the name in the Name field.
- Enter extension number in the Office Number Field.
- Set the Account to Auto.
- Select the Ring tone which you want to assign to user.
- Click on Add button to add the contact.
- Follow the same procedure to add other contacts.

With Yealink phone you can also assign one ringtone to the group of users by creating group on the Yealink phone.
ASSIGN RINGTONE TO GROUP:
Go to Group settings section to add new group.
Please follow the steps below:
• Enter the name in the group field.
• Select the ring tone from the drop down list.
• Click on Add button to save the group.
Once you have created a group then which you can assign to number of contacts for same ringtones.
Go to Contacts section to add new contact. Please follow the steps below:
• Enter the name in the Name field.
• Enter extension number in the Office Number Field.
• Set the Account to Auto.
• Set the Ringtone to Auto.
• Select the group name here from the drop down list.
• Click on Add button to add the contact.
• Follow the same procedure to add other contacts.
