A VoIP GSM gateway is widely used and require SIM cards to communicate with the PBX via a SIP server.
This configuration guide covers all the basic parameters which are required to configure GSM Gateway with VOIspeed PBX.
GSM GATEWAY CONFIGURATION:
LAN: use this port to connect the gateway to LAN with Ethernet cable.
PC: PC port is used to connect to the PC for the configuration of the GSM gateway.
The following figures show the parameters highlighted in green and red. Green parameters can be selected and set by the administrators and red parameters are mandatory which means they must retain the settings shown in the figures below.
You must make sure that you disable the PIN request on the SIM card before configuring it with the GSM gateway. You can disable the PIN request by inserting the SIM card in the mobile phone.

To access the web interface of the GSM gateway you must connect the gateway to the computer using the PC port and a standard Ethernet cable.
Go to network settings and enter an IP address in format of 192.168.8.x where x is equal to 1.
Then enter the specified IP address in the web browser to access the web interface of GSM gateway. Keep the same IP address in case you need to enter 192.168.8.1 in the web browser. Enter the username and password “admin” to login and then follow the configuration instructions below:
